Portable Sound-Based TMJ Movement Analysis Device for Bruxism
Temporomandibular joint dysfunction and bruxism affect tens of millions worldwide. Current diagnostic methods are either subjective and operator-dependent, or imaging-based — expensive, radiation-involved, and inaccessible to most practitioners. This research develops a portable, objective, radiation-free device for comparative TMJ movement analysis — designed to be usable by any practitioner, anywhere, without specialist referral or hospital infrastructure.
